1Timothy 6:15-17, “He who is the blessed and only Sovereign,…..no one has ever seen or can see.  To him be honor and eternal dominion.”

Matthew 5:8, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.”

  2. How Do We See Gods?

Understand and 1. Discern the purpose and 2. Glory of God after being blind to it.

  1. Who Gets to See God?

Those who are “pure” in heart.

Matt. 5:8 Blessed <makarios> are the pure <katharos> in heart: <kardia> for <hoti> they <autos> shall see <optanomai> God. <theos>

Matt. 5:8 Blessed is he who is unmixed….

James 1:27 Pure <katharos> religion <threskeia> and <kai> the Father <pater> is <esti> this <houtos>,….

God does not like us to mix things.

“You shall not sow your vineyard with different kinds of seed, lest the yield of the seed which you have sown and the fruit of your vineyard be defiled.  Deut. 22:9

“You must not plow with an ox and a donkey harnessed together”. Deut. 22:9

“You must not wear clothing made of wool and linen woven together.”  Deut. 22:11
